APRIL 15, 2017; 9:00AM-4:00PM; SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE UNIVERSITY
A one-day conference for middle school girls to inspire, encourage, and challenge them to achieve their academic and personal goals. It is around this age that many girls start to lose confidence in traditionally male-dominated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) studies. Our goal is to guide these young woman towards their passions, regardless of what those passions may be, through a series of workshops, personal conversations, and mentorship. Are you on board?
ALREADY REGISTERED? Take a look through the itinerary to know the “what”, “when”, and “where” for each of the activities thoughout the course of the day.
DO YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER BETWEEN GRADES 6 AND 8? Register her today for the I Hate Math: Women in STEM Conference for a day of fun, academic encouragement, and confidence building.
CONFERENCE VOLUNTEERS, WORKSHOP PRESENTERS, PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT VENDORS, AND MORE ARE ABSOLUTELY VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF THE I HATE MATH: WOMEN IN STEM CONFERENCE. We are looking for passionate, intelligent, and confident women to help remind the young attendees just how powerful it is to be a woman and to be whatever kind of woman she desires to be.
